Going International

Okay, so we're not an international company per se, but we have been getting several hosting customers from overseas as of late. One such new hosting customer from Mexico was happy enough with our services to post a comment on our Joomla! Resources Directory Listing in Spanish:

Simple Source Solutions tiene un excelente servicio y atención a clientes, su tiempo de respuesta es rápido, la información y soporte técnico no te dejarán colgado, lo recomiendo ampliamente. La instalación de Joomla se efectua sin problemas y en menos de 10 minutos, con todo trabajando muy bien.

Tuve problemas con otros proveedores con error de inicio de sesión, error en el Media Manager y error en el Editor TinyMCE y no se comprometen a reparar o arreglar, te engañan y cobran por adelantado sin solucionarte las fallas, en soporte técnico de Site Ground me contestaron que si no publicaba mis articulos sin el editor TinyMCE, o sea directamente en HTML, de plano no los volviera a contactar, así que no te arriesgues y contrata directamente en Simple Source Solutions porque te lo recomiendo.

Here's a loose translation a friend did for us:

Simple Source Solutions has excellent service and attention to client, their time of response is rapid, and the IT and tech support will not leave you hanging. I reccommend them highly. Installing Joomla was effected without problems and in less than 10 minutes, with everything working very well.

I had problems with other providers with session initialization errors, Media Manager errors and errors in the Editor TinyMCE, which they didn't know how to undertake repairing or fixing them. Other providers deceive you and charge ahead without fixing problems. In Site Ground tech support, I replied that if he did not publish my articles without the TinyMCE editor, or directly in HTML, I would flat not contact them again. So play it safe and hire directly from Simple Source Solutions because I recommend it.

They apparently didn't seem to like siteground's supposed "joomla friendly hosting", but they sure seem to like us.  Thanks for the great feedback!

Client Area Improvements

As many of you have already noticed, we have completed some changes/enhancements to your getsimple.net client area that we believe you will really find useful and enjoy.

Sub-Accounts


This new feature enables you to create additional users with specific configurable permissions to access your single master parent account. So basically, you now have the ability to setup additional users to access your getsimple.net account and access only what you want them to be able to access. Simply click on "My Details > Add new contact " to find this feature. For example, now there's no more need for giving out your account details to give an employee access to just support or billing. We've had many requests for a feature like this, so we hope you enjoy it.

Mass-Payment


The client area due invoices list has been improved to show the balance remaining for each invoice, and allow for a single payment to be made towards multiple due invoices in a single transaction. This will allow you pay any due invoices all at once so that only one charge shows up on your credit card–while retaining the ability to have separate invoices for each service. One more feature that makes getsimple.net even more simple and flexible for you our customer.

Knowledgebase

Several weeks back we enabled a knowledgebase area of getsimple.net and began adding articles that will help answer many questions you might commonly have and perhaps provide you with information you may have never even thought to ask about. We have now added a link to your client menu to make this easier for you to access. We will continue to add articles to the "KB" as we find helpful information to make available to you. This is another very often requested feature that we hope you will enjoy.

Add Funds


You can now add funds/account credit to your getsimple.net account right from your client area homepage which you can then use to pay any invoices down the road.

Auto Provision for Existing Customers
As existing customers, if you order new hosting services they will now be autoprovisioned for you. It's not like you had to wait very for us approve your orders up until now. We're pretty quick to approve orders. But now it's automatic.

Multiple Domain Renewals
If you have more than one domain registered with us, you can now renew these domains all at once. If you click on the (new) "Shopping Cart" linke from your client area, you will now see a new cart group section called "domain renewals" which allows you to order renewals for one or more of your domains at any time, in one single order.

Support Ticket Search
On the tickets page, you can now enter in your support ticket number and jump straight to that support ticket.

There are plenty of other "behind the scenes" features and enhancements we've made–all of which continue to make getsimple.net the best place on the web for all of your hosting and design needs. We hope you will make good use of these client area enhancements and continue to enjoy the ever expanding features of your getsimple.net account.

Joomla 1.5.23 Update Released

If you are using Joomla! CMS, this is a friendly note to make you aware of a new release which offers numerious fixes for reported bugs. If you have manually installed Joomla and are uncomfortable with installing the update yourself, try using something like this to download and install the update.  It makes updates quick and easy, not to mention the extension is free. If you like the extension, make sure to donate to the developer.
